RPAC Reverse Raffle

Description

This year's event features two raffle boards with 150 tickets available for each board. Make sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time! The goal is to sell out prior to the drawing on September 24th!


Each ticket includes: 

  • One number on the raffle board
  • Admission for one person
  • Entry into a drawing for a mystery raffle ($500 value!!)
  • Dinner (Cash bar available)

How the raffle works: 

  • If your number is drawn, you're out
  • The goal is to be among the last tickets remaining (especially the final 5)
  • The last 5 ticket holders can choose to split the pot
    • If everyone agrees, the pot is split but if anyone declines, another ticket is drawn
    • This continues until there's agreement or one winner remains
    • You must be present to vote on splitting — but not required to be present to win

Buying and Using Tickets: 

  • You can buy as many tickets as you'd like
  • Each ticket grants one entry and one admission
  • Extra tickets purchased can be used to bring guests
  • You may split the cost of a ticket with others, but each ticket still only allows one admission

General Rules:

  • Only ticket holders may attend
  • Guests must enter using an extra ticket
  • Ticket numbers may not be chosen in advance, they will be randomly assigned at the event check-in. 

Contributions to RPAC are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The amounts indicated are merely guidelines and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amounts. The National Association of REALTORS® and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member because of the amount contributed or decision not to contribute. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. Up to thirty percent (30%) may be sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a. A copy of our report filed with the State Board of Elections is (or will be) available on the Board's official websitewww.elections.il.gov or for purchase from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, Illinois. Except as may be required by state or federal law, the Illinois REALTORS® PAC (Illinois RPAC) is not required to refund political contributions. However, a refund request made by a contributor within 30 days of the date of his or her RPAC contribution is received will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

*Prize is based on the number of tickets sold. Raffle must raise 3x the amount in order to receive the full prize amount. The prize will be reduced based on the total amount raised.

Pricing

$50 per ticket: $2,500 Cash Prize Raffle

$25 per ticket: $1,000 Cash Prize Raffle

Taco Bar included with each ticket. Cash bar available. 

Individuals cannot select their own number for the raffle board
